"It's fall, and it's definitely New England!"
Main Street is the heart of our town. It's the place where we come together each year to create unforgettable memories. Whether it's attending a Fall Foliage Festival & Car/Motorcycle Show in September, shopping, dining, watching parades, movies, live concerts, bowling and axe throwing leagues, visiting museums and craft breweries, attending events and the community college, or working out at the YMCA, Main Street has it all!

Welcome. We're making positive things happen in Winsted since 1999!
Friends of Main Street Winsted is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the historic preservation, beautification, and economic growth of Winsted. We achieve this by helping to attract new businesses, support existing businesses, and encourage traffic to downtown. Donations are always welcome! Kathleen Borkowski created the beautiful "Beside a Still River" painting for the Winsted Trails Art Plein Contest at the Friends of Main Street Fall Foliage Festival in 2018. The artwork was auctioned off at Indian Meadows Estates to benefit Winsted Trails. Proud member of:
