Make Some Memories!

Spring Has Arrived!

Spring is an exciting season filled with life as daffodils and tulips begin to bloom. The shops on Main Street come alive with vibrant new clothing, decorative items, fresh menus, music, and gardening supplies. We eagerly anticipate a variety of events celebrating the season, including the Earth Day Cleanup and the  Senior Prom 60+ at the Winsted YMCA. Additionally, there will be educational seminars such as "Sly Like a Fox" hosted by the Winchester Land Trust, "Eradicating Japanese Knotweed" by the Winchester Conservation Commission, and the fabulous Recycled Runway  event at the American Mural Project. Don’t forget the Winsted Canteen Swing Dance, organized by the Soldiers' Monument Commission.

Welcome.

We're making positive things happen in Winsted since 1999!

Friends of Main Street Winsted is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the historic preservation, beautification, and economic growth of Winsted.

We achieve this by helping to attract new businesses, support existing businesses, and encourage traffic to downtown.

Spring has arrived on Highland Lake! The water is warming up quickly—it's up to 57 tonight. These two gentlemen were catching some good-sized fish..
